Join us for an easy walk along a gently undulating track from the Leanganook picnic ground to the impressive Dog Rocks. Spectacular views and cool, tall forest. Some early wildflowers. We will return to the picnic ground for afternoon tea. Approx. 3km return, but turn back when you like. There is a toilet block at the picnic ground.
Bring: Water, snacks, clean sturdy shoes, chairs and afternoon tea.
All welcome.
The Field Trip will be cancelled in extreme weather conditions or if there is a high fire risk.
Meet: 1.30pm sharp at the Octopus (Duke St, opposite the Castle Motel) or 1.45pm at the Leanganook Picnic Area, Mt Alexander.
