SEANA Spring camp Castlemaine, 9-11 October, 2026

Hosted by the Castlemaine Field Naturalists Club Inc.

The South East Australian Naturalists’ Association (SEANA) “camps” are an excellent chance to meet fellow field naturalists from around SE Australia. We are pleased to advise that our club will be hosting the SEANA Spring camp for 2026 and warmly invite you to attend.

The camp will be based at the Campbells Creek Community Centre, 60 Elizabeth Street, Campbells Creek and a full and diverse program of excursions has been planned for the weekend to showcase our different environments, from Box-Ironbark woodlands to the granite boulders of Mount Alexander and Mount Moorul, and the volcanic Moolort plains to the west with wetlands and remnant native grasslands. Excellent guest speakers are arranged for Friday and Saturday evenings.

Information about this camp is available on our website SEANA Spring 2026 Castlemaine – Castlemaine Field Naturalists Club and by clicking the links below.

The invitation letter – an overview of planned activities, guest speakers and accommodation suggestions (attendees are responsible for booking their own accommodation).
