Hosted by the Field Naturalists Club of Victoria
The South East Australian Naturalists’ Association (SEANA) organises two camps each year where Field Naturalist groups from around SE Australia gather to meet fellow naturalists and explore a new region under the guidance of local experts.
The next SEANA Autumn Camp will be held over the weekend of Friday April 19 – Monday April 22 on Phillip Island, hosted by the Field Naturalists Club of Victoria. The main venue will be in Cowes. The FNCV look forward to giving you a further appreciation of the natural features of Phillip Island including The Nobbies, Swan Lake, Rhyll Inlet, Conservation Hill, Churchill Island, and Cape Woolamai, beach walks, Kitty Miller Bay, Seal Rocks and the Bass Coast. There will be a focus on geology, botany, birdlife and invertebrates.
Accommodation: Participants are asked to arrange their own accommodation for the three nights, Friday 19th April to Sunday 21st April 2024. Early booking is strongly recommended as the area around Cowes is very popular on the weekend.
